A new project has been started. Construction of Avani Hydro Power Plant (HPP) is ordered by ,,Energoinvest” Ltd.
Installed capacity of hydro power plant is 4,6 mgWt. Getting the maximum water discharge 2,3 m3/sec from Avaniskhevi River is scheduled. According to the project, basic elements included in the complex of Avani HPP are:
- The headwork (water intake structure) with sediment tank at Avaniskhevi River;
- Pressure pipeline coming from the headwork installed at Avaniskhevi River;
- Plant room of HPP, conductive path and protection of adjacent territory from expected flooding.
